2008 Constellation, Kavi Gupta Gallery, Chicago
Group exhibition featuring new work by Sayre Gomez, Julian Hoeber, Landon Wiggs, Brett Lund, and Mark Hagen.
2008 Shaving The Mammoth, San Francisco Art Institute Exhibition And Museums Studies Program, San Francisco
This is a publication examining the role of absurdity and impossible projects in recent contemporary art. Artists included: Erkan Ozgen, Bas Jan Ader, Kate Gilmore, Lara Favaretto, Christoph Büchel, Francis Al˙s, Seung Yui Oh, Peter Land, Tracey Moffatt, John Bock, Janne Lehtinen, Taiyo Kimura, Guy Ben-ner, and Sener Ozmen.
2007 Machine Imaginaire, Lisa Boyle Gallery, Chicago
The exhibition was composed of artists whose shared aesthetic relates to that of popular Internet culture. Artists Exhibited: Xylor Jane, Brian Bress, Stephen Hull, Tami Demaree, and Anthony Record.
2007 YouTubular, San Francisco Art Institute, San Francisco
This was a video screening whose content was pulled from YouTube, videos were shown alongside associated media clips (commercials, cartoons, etc.). Artists Exhibited: Jim Drain, Frankie Martin, Brian Bress, Bec Stupak, Animal Charm, Ryan Trecartin, and Rodrigo Garcia Dutra.
2006 The Beginning of The End of The Beginning, Bucket Rider Gallery, Chicago
This was a group exhibition composed of artists whose work addresses both survivalism and primitivism. Artists Exhibited: Landon Wiggs, Nathan Mabry, Jon Parot, Emilie Halpern, John Knuth, Jeff Williams, and Shashi Chittle.
2005 Soft Radical, Compact Space Gallery, Los Angeles
This was a group exhibition co-curated with painter Katie Herzog. The exhibition presented work whose politics are understated and easily overlooked, but ultimately powerful. Artists exhibited: Amir Fallah, Sarah Anne Johnson, Sam Lopes, Erika Somogyi, Jennifer Porter, and Christy Karacas.
2001-4 Owned/Directed 1R Gallery, Chicago
Organized 37 group and solo exhibitions and events from November 2001 until September of 2004.
Selected artists exhibited: Sam Salisbury, Kathleen Kranack, Sterling Ruby, Kirsten Stoltmann, Aaron Curry, Scott Roberts, Carol Jackson, Jon Parot, Frankie Martin, Erika Somogyi, Chris Vasell, Craig Doty, Harrell Fletcher, Babak Ghazi, Amanda Ross-Ho, and Siebren Versteeg.

EDUCATION
2006-2008 Master of Arts Degree in Exhibition and Museum Studies, San Francisco Art Institute
The degree is a two-year program of critical research and writing on the history of art exhibition and curatorial practice. My individual thesis discusses participatory art events as they relate to online fan communities and other pervasive media. My thesis review committee was comprised of Hou Hanru, independent curator, Steve Dietz, artistic director of ZERO01 San Jose, and Tammy Ko Robinson, media scholar and activist.
2007 Curator-In-Residence, Tokyo Wonder-Site Aoyama, Tokyo, Japan
The residency was for six weeks in the Shibuya district of Tokyo to study the role digital media plays in Japanese culture. I met with media theorists from Tokyo's Keio University and spoke at the residency about the role of the Internet in contemporary art.
2004 Self-Directed Residency, The Banff Centre, Banff, Canada
The residency was for two weeks to do studio visits with artists-in-residence, speak about my curatorial work, and organize future exhibitions.
1999-2003 Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago
My undergraduate degree focused on sculpture and digital photography. Additional emphasis placed on art theory and criticism, particularly regarding the history of art exhibition and curatorial practice.
